365/119: Not me Monday

Not like the ones that I used to do around here. This is more an "I'm so glad it's not me" Monday.

Can you imagine being this guy/gal and having to wear this to attract people to a business. It would be so unbelievably hot and uncomfortable!I guess the good part is that there isn't any way someone is going to recognize you wearing it! lol

Not me Monday

This weekend I did not sit on the couch with my blanket and pillow and watch almost an entire season of America's Next Top Model.

I also didn't postpone bathing my children one night in hopes of feeling better. Didn't work. Ended up bathing all three, while feeling like crap, at the last minute last night.

I did not eat an entire mini bag of quakes. (in my defense it was only 3 servings and I was only 5 points over for the day. I'm being much better today!)

I definatly didn't hide my healthy veggie snacks in my lunchbox so my family wouln't eat them (again defending myself here, it was just the sliced apples that I knew they would eat all of!! lol)

I thought this would be fun today. What didn't I do last week... hmmm... lets see,
1. I didn't eat a whole package of sour patch kids.
2. I didn't kick butt on my couch25k runs this week (Bring it on week 2!)
3. I didn't fit into a skirt that I haven't worn since before Natalie was born (WHOOT!)
4. I didn't buy my girls two new books at the store for $2 a piece! (Seriously if you have toddler age kids, find too many frogs. TOO CUTE!)
5. I did not sit and watch Friends re-runs today. I still LOVE that show!!

Its that time again. Maybe since its summer I can get back into my blogging grove?

What didn't I do this week.....

Well, I didn't drink my goal amount of water (or more) every day!

I also didn't walk (at least) a mile every day.

And I didn't track my calories (back on the wagon) and keep it within my target (minus one day, but I still tracked everything that went IN!)

I didn't focus this week on encouraging my fellow TOPS members.

I also didn't leave four Operation Beautiful notes. :)

A weekly opportunity for me to list all the things I didn't do last week.

1. I did not put off my math homework till the last minute on a three day weekend.
2. I did not skip out on my last class period of coding. Only one more, the final!
3. I did not skip my food log for the last week. (though for most of it I was so sick, I could barely eat anything!)
4. I did not spend most of my afternoon Sunday playing with Excel to see what kinds of cool charts I could make.
5. I did not eat a whole king size reese's tonight... really really shouldn't have.

1. I did not have a cheat day from the "diet" for yesterday, since we were going to the movies and I wanted sour patch kids and popcorn! I did however avoid the soda! 

 2. I did not make my child lay on the living room floor, still for 15 minutes just to see if there was any chance of a nap, and their was. She is still napping now! 

3. I did not have a Top model marathon today. I

1. I did not give in and let Alivia have juice in a bottle. I am PRAYING she doesn't get used to this, but she needed the liquid and the latch on break off was killing the girls! 

 2. I did not put off my homework till Sunday night. 

 3. I did not send my girls to church without me, just so I could take Liv to urgent care without all three in tow (In my defense, they really do like church, and were with my mom!) 

4. I did not buy myself a CUTE new pair of walking shoes to use on my new treadmill and for my walks outside. (They are new balance, and TOTALLY CUTE!) 

 5. I did not make hubby re-arrange the living room so the treadmill would fit, and so that I would be able to walk (and hopefully later, run) with the TV :) that way I can watch my shows and not be lazy!)

1. I did not procrastinate on homework until the last minute... not quite as ahead as I was. 

2. I did not slack off on blogging the last two months (I will be better this month!) 

 3. I did not drag out the old Friends dvd's to watch again. (I still love that show!) 

4. I did not find another show I love, The Office, and it isn't what I watched most of Sunday when I was home sick with Natalie. 

5. I did not send hubby to the store to get deli food for dinner when I really had no energy to cook Sunday (again, I was home with a sick kid ALL DAY, and a second for most of the afternoon)

1. I did not give my baby sister her birthday present yesterday, even though TODAY IS HER BIRTHDAY!! (Happy birthday Colleen!!) I knew I would be busy with finals and her with her jobs. :) 

2. I did not put off my Interpersonal communications paper till the last minute. I still think I pulled it off though. 

3. I did not spend much of my weekend playing New Super Mario Bros Wii. (**Warning!! Insanely addictive and fun!!)

4. I did not sit myself down and get some blogs ready for pre-posting. I am in a funk, hoping that getting back into my blogging groove will help (prayers are always appreciated too!!) 

5. I did not reverse look up two numbers that I missed on my phone today, only to figure out it was the Chinese food place I ordered from looking for my house! lol

1. I did not fall down the stairs at school. (don't worry it was only like 5, and I was only slightly bruised) 

2. I did not make my husband take Alivia along to the day after Thanksgiving shopping (hey! She was already awake!) 

3. I did not guess what the double clicking turn signal meant (FYI, usually means you have a burnt out bulb) 

4. I did not get most of my final project done over the weekend for my speech class. 

5. I did not do a happy dance, can you believe fall term is almost over!? I have this week and three finals. YAY!

1. I did not worry about my Medical Insurance Procedures test ALL WEEKEND only to learn I scored and 82! 

2. I did not beg my mommy to take me into Costco with her membership so I could see the dresses (PRAY they have affordable ones in the sizes we need!) 

3. I did not put off blogging till late for the past few days, but at least its getting done. 

4. I did not use the empty cheese-it box to write the appointment times on for mine and McKayla's vision appointments. I don't know why I couldn't find ANYTHING else to write on! 

5. I did not watch all three of the CSI's back to back last night (was awesome since NY, Vegas and Miami all tied together) :)

1. I did not dip into the kids Halloween candy ALL WEEK (not gonna mention the other junk, but at least it wasn't Halloween candy right?) 

2. I did not fake Alivia out and slip a blanket in front of her in the swing so she would stay there. I admit it, I am not above tricking the kids to get stuff done! lol 

3. I did not tell my mom it would be okay for her to take both girls to the parade for Veteran's Day. She wanted them in the van for the church's part, and I really didn't want to go. But when she ASKED if she could take them, I jumped on it! Just me and Liv Wednesday morning. 

4. I did not miss the meeting to learn the new music system because of work, and now have to run it alone on Sunday because my sister won't be there! This should be interesting. You know what I will be doing Wednesday now, learning the system! 

5. I did not put off my blog till almost too late to post yesterday. I got it up though, without cheating!

Not me Monday!

 Whats that? Its not Monday? Whoops! I guess I did miss a day :( But I still want to play! And its my blog, so I am doing it anyway! 

1. I did not totally forget to post a blog yesterday. And I must admit that for just a minute I thought about just posting one with yesterday's date, but decided that was just cheating! 

2. I did not buy another bag of those stupid candy pumpkins. 

3. The girls did not end up with so much candy that I have been giving it to all the guests to our house. 

4. I did not almost cry for joy when we learned my brother got a job! (He's been out of work for more than 9 months, so its a TRUE answer to prayer.) Please just continue to keep him in your prayers as its just a temp job, but you never know, if he is good enough he may get hired full time! 

5. I did not convince my husband to upgrade his phone early so I would have a phone that worked. (PS the Samsung glide is AWFUL!) I don't get an upgrade till January but can use Jimmy's old phone if he gets one :)

1. I did not eat too many of those candy pumpkins after I could finally eat Thursday. 

2. I did not whine to the IV person during my x-ray that I was a wimp (self proclaimed of course!) 

3. I did not figure out that I didn't have enough fruits to last the whole two weeks for Liv, but she does have lots of veggies and LIKES THEM! 

4. I did not let both my older girls "cry it out" the last two nights to get them to go to bed at the same time. 

5. We did not have to alter McKayla's Halloween costume twice to finally get it to fit her (and that was the FOURTH one we tried!!)

1. I did not feel like I had jello legs after the Biggest Loser workout I did yesterday. 

2. I did not give Jimmy and I a star sticker on the calendar in hopes to get an incentive to keep it up. 

3. I did not FINALLY order some good prints of our family pictures. (Can't wait for them to arrive.) 

4. I did not write a not so nice email to the seller of the new laptop charger I bought about the re-shipping charge (wouldn't have been so upset if I had been told the first email but they told me 3 emails and nearly two weeks later! UGH!) So, after that, they re-shipped for free. YIPEE! 

5. I did not procrastinate on my homework till tonight again. I keep telling myself I will get it done earlier, but never happens. Does saying that ever work for anyone? LOL!

Another chance to talk about all the "not me's" from last week! 

1. I did not sit on the couch and laugh so hard I was crying. You have hear the back story on this one. McKayla was running through the house with her arm streched behind her and in that hand was a bee from McDonalds (you know, from the Bee movie?) Anyway, she is running around the living room yelling "the bumblebee is going to get me! the bumblebee is going to get me!" Ran up to her daddy and told him the same thing, to which he replied that she better keep running then! And she did! 

2. I did not procrastinate on my homework until Sunday night, but still finish in time to get a few blogs busted out! 

3. I did not decide a week into the term that I don't need the suggested book for one of my classes. I was just going to take it to the book buyback, but decided to return it before the deadline instead! 

4. I did not eat two bowls of chili at our lunch meeting for church (It was homemade and DELISH!) I also didn't take some home for Jimmy and then remember that he won't eat it because of the tomatoes in it... Oh well! Looks like more for me! 

5. Lastly, I did not get all my blogs for the week ready today to be posted all week. (Have I told you before how much I love that pre-dating feature!?)

1. I did not start school today and I am not EXCITED about it! 

2. I did not put off dinner till almost too late last night 

3. I did not have my backpack ready for more than a week for school! 

4. I did not spend a half hour driving around looking for a new rental with a fenced yard 

5. I did not have fun at church Sunday sharing my personal testimony with the congregation, I will not be sharing here tomorrow, so be prepared!

1. I did not take the kids to two different playgrounds because I was bored on Friday afternoon. 

2. I did not get to work at the Customer Service desk on Friday and LOVE it! Change is good!! 

3. I did not use some of my financial aide money to get a new laptop (but it was a great deal, and I needed a new one for school, it just won't be exclusively for school! lol) 

4. I did not borrow the book "Two for the Dough" by Janet Evanovich from the library only to realize I already OWN it! lol 

5. I did not wake up with only ten minutes to be to work Friday, and still only show up five minutes late (just picture me brushing my teeth with one hand spraying the dream curls spray with the other!)

1. I did not LOVE every minute of the older two girls being in preschool today. 

2. I did not get to go shopping and to the library in relative quiet with just ONE kid! 

3. I did not ditch my sister with the baby to go pick the older two back up, and pause at the preschool for a nice conversation with the girl's teacher (I love that woman!) 

4. I did not eat LOTS of salsa with my chips (does that make it healthier? lol) 

5. I did not LOVE the time I got to spend with BOTH my siblings today. :)

1. I did not buy some chocolate chip cookie dough just to snack on. (gimme a break, its been a rough week!) 

2. I did not cave and have half a soda. (but it WAS diet! YAY!) 

3. I did not get to go to another baseball game, and the home team did not lose again (beginning to think we are a bad luck charm!)

4. I did not almost number this 1, 2, 3, 2 OOPS! lol 

5. I did not end up sharing my bed with three children and a husband for a brief time last night.
