Happy Sunday everyone, here is a short quote to keep you inspired:
You said to lean on Your arm,
and I'm leaning.
You said to trust in Your love,
and I'm trusting.
You said to call on Your name,
and I'm calling
I'm stepping out
on Your word.

I'm Bragging
and not ashamed to admit it.
I just finished up my last test for my math class yesterday. I was completely amazed the results were posted this morning. I really didn't think I did well on this last test, but underestimated myself again. I got a 97 on the test, and a 94% for the entire math class. I am soooo proud of myself. Not only did I get an A in math, a subject that, to put it nicely, is not my forte, but I also got an A in my medical terminology class. That means the term that I had my new baby in I got STRAIGHT A's!!!!
So, yeah. I'm bragging, and not ashamed to admit it. :)
PS: Keep us in your thoughts today, and pray to the weather gods that the sun stays out. We are attending the 100th annual Strawberry Festival Parade today :) We will still go if it rains, but it would be alot more fun dry. Stay tuned for pictures!!
PPS We had some AWESOME thunder storms the last few days. Too bad I couldn't catch a single lightening picture. I did however get a picture of the massive amount of rain we got on Thursday :
You see that spot in the middle? Yeah, that is the drain. LOL! It was literally swirling into the drain, then it was covered!!

My big girl!!
I joked that my baby would be six years old having sleepovers in her crib, but I took the plunge.
McKayla's been converted to a toddler bed. She didn't do so hot the first night. Ended up with Mommy and Daddy. But last night she finally got to sleep 90 minutes after the first attempt, and stayed that way till Natalie woke up the whole house around 2am.
She was right back in her bed and even took a nap today without any problems. I just hope it continues like this! Next thing we need to work on is nighttime potty training. But I figure 5/7 nights she is up dry, we will just keep with the pull ups. They don't go in the trash till they are wet. Call me gross. lol. I don't care with the cost of those puppies! Anyway, I got just a couple pics, so you could have PROOF! lol.

My new ride
So, I read each of your replies, and as much as I was thinking we would wait, we found a deal we couldn't pass up. We found a 2005 Dodge Caravan for (at the low end) $200 below Kelly blue book and the high end it was more then $2000 under priced! So, needless to say we got it. On Tuesday. It is black and glittery (but not overly so!) has power doors and back hatch, stow and go seating, a 6 disk CD changer, and AC!!! Will be wonderful for our upcoming vacation. Here are a couple pics for you! :)
Front view:
Already strewn with papers. The wind helped us with that today :) Besides that we are just loving that we got the van just in time for our vacation. The extra space and nice cool ac will help the 8 hour trip...
Speaking of vacation, anyone up for guest blogging?? Just let me know. I am gonna be gone from Sunday to Sunday. Any day you want, just let me know. I should have access so you won't go without, it would just make my vacation ALOT more restful :) Thanks :)

Random thoughts
I am so blank today. I know that I need to write something but honestly have nothing to write about. Its like writers block, but it is for a blog, so I shall call it blogger's block! So, until something interesting hits my mind you get to deal with my random thoughts, you knew they would come in eventually right?
The weather sucked today. It is just grey and rainy and windy. I thought it was pretty funny that our property management company came out today and used the leaf blowers to clear the property and not even 20 minutes later it was covered in leaves again. What a waste of time.
Want to hear something else funny? I woke up to something interesting, and that was my almost two year old shaking me saying "mommy.... mommy...?" I wouldn't be so concerned if it weren't for the fact that she still sleeps in a crib. So, the first words out of my mouth were "how in the heck did you get out of your crib?!?" At which point I hear my mom laughing! She had come over and when she didn't get an answer at the door, she let herself in (she has a key because she babysits for me, and its easier then my husband having to worry about not hearing her knock) called out to tell me she was here. Then McKayla apparently yelled from her room "I wake!" So, mom thinking it would be hilarious sent her in to wake mommy up. And I didn't disappoint her! lol.
Hmmm... what are some other random thoughts I can share with you... I have more then 400 oz of breast milk stored up for my baby, for when I return to work. Actually I have 455oz!!! I ROCK! lol. The reason I started storing up so early and have so much stocked is that is one of the reasons I couldn't keep breastfeeding McKayla. I returned to work and with that stress and an unexpected trip to Boise my supply greatly dwindled, and I had nothing to fall back on. I am completely reassured now that I will be successful in lasting longer then I did with her because I have so much to fall back on.
Speaking of my return to work, I will be going back next Monday. It really stinks, but it is something that I have to do. I am sure that someday I will be able to be a stay at home mom, but until then I will work, and I will try to do it with a smile on my face. But if you think about it, say a little prayer for me, it is going to be a tough adjustment.
OK, I am done. I am tired. I am going to bed. For those who read JD Robb books, her newest one is awesome "Innocent in death." If you haven't ever read her books, you should. They are GREAT!
