So, we got these free tickets to go watch The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl tomorrow. Only problem, it started snowing last night, as of 7:30pm we had a half inch. Should make for an interesting football watching experience.

30 Days of Thanks Day 21
I am thankful for seasonal coffee creamers. If I could, I would use them all year round. I have been told that you can freeze it for later use, but I can't bring myself to do that. Instead, I try and enjoy it as long as possible by buying the first time I see it in stores and making sure that I keep it on hand in the fridge for as long as I can. There is nothing quite like a hot coffee with some peppermint mocha creamer in it. I had almost an entire pot of coffee Saturday morning because it just tasted so good. The next bottle I buy will be pumpkin spice, another flavor I can't get enough of! You know what else I love? The holiday cups. I love seeing the festivity in my hand.

Wordless Wednesday
The best thing about birthdays? Cupcakes!! Jimmy found this fun 12 pack that had four different kinds: red velvet, carrot cake, strawberry shortcake and coffee (I think). We all loved them!

Infestation
I have zero idea what is going on, but suddenly we have had a bunch of these little guys in our house. Not sure where they are coming from! We never had problems with them coming in before, but suddenly we are finding (and the girls are removing) at least one or two a day. The only name I know them by is "fire bugs" and as far as I can tell they are harmless, but that doesn't stop me from screaming like a girl every time I have one on me. It awesome, especially when they girls all laugh at me for it.

Do you see what I see? Its a rainbow in the cloud. I'm not sure I would have seen it if hubby weren't driving. We were driving together for once on our way to date night! First one we have had in MONTHS! We went to a local theater that serves dinner while you watch, so we dined and enjoyed RED 2 (love Bruce Willis!). Made it possible to grab some ice cream after too. =) YUM! And while we were waiting in line Jimmy started singing to the oldies music playing in the shop. Not so loud that everyone could hear, but loud enough for one girl to hear and point him out to her friends. I couldn't help but smile. Sorry girls, he's taken!

365/245: Cat Napping
I am sure I've already mentioned here that I have been babysitting a friends kiddos when they need help. The kids are 19 months (boy) and 4 months (girl). But, what I didn't mention is that I also get to kitty sit. This sweet girl is Razzle and she just loves to cuddle. It's so nice to have a warm furry body snuggled up against me. I snapped this pic Friday night. What you can't see is that McKayla is also asleep the opposite end of the couch. She was pretty bummed that the kitty didn't want to sleep with her. But after I explained that she just needed to sit still a bit more.

365/236: Busy!
I have such a busy weekend this week that I am tired just thinking about it. Friday we have the rehearsal dinner and movie night. Then Saturday we have pictures to take, a wedding to be in and somehow have to fit in 8 miles. And lastly on Sunday I have church where I lead the teens Sunday School class and also volunteered to do junior church. That doesn't even include the time that I have to spend cleaning the house, catching up on laundry, and back to school shopping! I need a weekend to rest up from my weekend!
Another storm rolling in.We got quite the weather action Thursday evening |

365/230: Saturday Randomness
I had a L-O-N-G week. The highlight was a great family night of baseball. Every time I feel like I am starting to be dragged down by the weight of my worries, something else happens to remind me of how very blessed I am.
Training recap: I am just finishing up week 12 of my half marathon training. After today's four miler my next two weeks will have an 8 mile run on Saturdays. This week also marks the last of my three a week runs and starts on four a week. Just 49 days until I line up at the starting line of my first half. I am getting excited! I am also happy to say that I found a running partner. A girl from work said she was willing to do my intervals with me on the weekends. Last Saturday was our first run together. I'm not completely sure I would have made it without her. Here's to hoping my next 8 mile run is a bit easier on me!

365/229: Magic
This is a sign at my work. I know that it means to me something far different then what they intended. I have walked by this sign a hundred times and every time I get this feeling, right in my heart. Three is my magic number. I have three girls. Almost everyone knows that around here (unless this is your first visit, in which case WELCOME!) I can't even begin to tell you how often we hear "when are you going to try for a boy?" Most of the time I just jokingly answer that my husband has five sisters and the odds were not in our favor to get a boy. Right now, we have decided our house is full enough. Both Jimmy and I love where we are in our lives. Love watching our three girls grow and develop into amazing little people and love that we are finally out of the diapers and bottles phase of our lives. I may not have a son, but that's okay, I am perfectly content with the three girls I have been given. Three is our magic number and five is our full house. And you know what, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Another nature picture today. I just loved this when I walked out of my garage the other night. The sun was setting, perfectly framed in the lush green trees we are blessed with. Beautiful!

365/223
Sometimes I can't help but just be amazed. How can you not believe we have a Creator? What amazing clouds! And they are something we look at EVERY DAY and take them for granted, but they cushion our earth. They keep the sun from burning us (mostly :P) they fill up with water to nourish our earth. It's just amazing. I loved these ones that I saw this week, had to stop and take a pic!

365/214: Fun Runs!
I came upon this guy a few weeks ago. I had to stop and take a picture! The girls that ran past me even thought it was pretty cool.
I just love that I can run so many different routes and go past so many different things. I am blessed to be where I am!

365/148: Sunset
I have never thanked God so much for a sunset. This was taken (safely by my sister) while we were driving to Oregon on Friday. Did I mention that the girls broke my visor?? Yeah, not the best trip timing on my part lol.

365/144: Sister Love

I am excited about seeing my family, not excited to face the time without her.
We have been so spoiled. She's been with us for eight weeks and I loved having her. She has been so helpful, not only with the girls, but just around the house. I feel like she has gotten closer to my girls over the course of 8 weeks. They already loved her, but now they will remember those couple months where aunt sissy was here. I am hoping that she might be able to come spend another couple weeks sometime this summer. I am just really going to miss having family right here. Jimmy's family is great, but they aren't "my" family. Does that even make sense? I am also really going to miss letting my girls sleep in. I will have to get them up and out of bed, which requires me to get up earlier. And the fact that Jimmy is working and there isn't another adult in the house also means that I need to do my running before he goes to work. That means this girl needs to re learn how to get up at 5 in the morning (compared to seven lately!) Ugh. I am just gonna miss that girl. I am going to miss the girl talk at night. I am going to miss her laugh (and her snort!) I am going to miss my sissy :( But I need to look at the bright side, at least I was able to keep her this long, and at least I know that if a crisis happens she is able (and willing) to jump in and help take care of the kids. Anyway, that is about all I am going to ramble about today. Note to self, don't forget, while in Oregon, to get a picture of yourself and brother and father. You need them on your dresser too!

365/139: Reflections
This picture about takes my breath away. There is something about the sunlight streaming through the clouds like this, makes me think of those in Heaven shining down on us. It makes me smile every time I see it. I imagine those who I have lost getting to look down on us, maybe sending us a hug via sunbeams.

365/134: Oooo Pretty!
I love spring and I love summer. We have had our first taste of summer weather this week and I couldn't be happier. I love the sunshine, I love the flowers. These are a few that I saw this week that caught my eye.

365/105: I love spring!!
I have been really enjoying the last few weeks. We have been having some wonderful spring like weather. It has been a bit blustery and a bit chilly some mornings, but I can't complain. I don't have snow in my yard and I get to enjoy these at work and on my walks. I love spring!!
