YAY!!!

My little one rolled over today for me!! She rolled to the left so I put her back on her belly and she rolls to the right!! What a big girl I have!! I am entertained by her talking all the time now. She is even laughing now. It is so sweet to hear these belly laughs out of this little person.

We had two Christmas parties this past week.

One for my work and one for church. So, we got the girls all dolled up in their Christmas dresses and took them out. (I promise I will get pics of them and post, I have alot to share, portraits, Santa pics, Christmas pics, tee hee, keeping you checking in huh!?) It was the funniest thing, one of my assistant managers had a son who was about three months older then McKayla and they were having a blast together. I didn't get any pics, but I hope someone did! They were so cute, running around holding hands, dancing, kissing! lol. And to make it even stickier there was another little boy who just turned one in August, who was as big as M, he was kissing on her too! What a little charmer. Boy are we in trouble when it comes time for dating!!

The other party wasn't filled with so much romance but was still fun. McKayla got the Mr. Potato head set, it had two bodies, the Mr and Mrs, and then three extra costumes, a pirate, a party guy and a safari guy. They go well with her Easter bunny and Halloween ones! lol. She is having a blast taking them apart and then making me put them together!

Tomorrow is the last day before Christmas! I have to work, but thankfully it won't be a full shift, only 7 and 1/2 hours. I only had one person who could babysit and she has to work at three! So, that makes it nice for me!! Anyway if I don't get a chance to post again before, I wish you all the Merriest of Christmases and a Happy Healthy New Year.

Support.....

Your friends. Even if you think what they are doing is the stupidest idea on the planet. Tell them that you hope they do well, that you are glad they got what they wanted. I guess I better give some back round on this. I have a friend. I love her dearly, but I have gotten to the point I am afraid to tell her about good things that have happened. For example: I told her about my interview at Lowe's and her response wasn't congratulations, or good luck it was "well you will hate it but good luck" Okay, so she got half, but her being so mean to start almost negates the good luck part... Anyway.

I have a couple opportunities possibly coming my way. If you think about me, just say a little prayer that I will make the right decision. If you know me you know I will be missing a lot of sleep thinking about what I am going to do. My choices aren't even there yet and I am already worrying about them. Please someone tell me this is normal!!

Today my babies got to spend the day with their godmother Robin. She is a wonderful woman from our Church. A surrogate grandmother to my girls. I love her almost as much as my own mom. Anyway, the reason my girls were with her and not my mom is that my mom got a job. Yes a job, besides watching my babies that is! lol. I am so happy for her. She is just beyond excited. She will be the Christmas coordinator. For those who don't know I attend the Salvation Army and Christmas is a VERY busy season for us. You know those annoying bell ringers out in front of all the stores?? Yea, that's us. We collect that money to help the communities we operate in. Social services, disaster relief, etc. Anyway, back to mom's job. She is just thrilled that our new pastors entrusted her with this responsibility. Our last pastors weren't the nicest people to her, they didn't seem to realize how much that she did for the church. Anyway, blubbering on here.... I will just leave it at this. She is now employed for at least the season. So, two or three days a week the girls are with grandma Robin. Wish us luck! Its gonna be a hectic two months.

Guess that's all for today. Bored you all enough! lol

Random shots of my girls

I have been working over time with the camera lately.

Making up for the lack of pics before! lol. I am researching some cameras to try and find a better one. Hopefully for Christmas. Mine has very delayed shutter speed and eats batteries like nothing else. I am looking for a faster one that I can keep the batteries in!

So, if you have any suggestions shoot them at me.

Keep in mind that I am electronically challenged, so it needs to be easy to use! Anyway here are some pics for you.

These first ones are some more from yesterday. My sister and brother in law were able to make it down for the dedication and brought my gorgeous nephew Gabriel, so the little one in the overalls is him!

My baby is one month!

Well, its one day late, but at least I am posting. Yesterday my baby was a whole month old. So, to celebrate the day I took some pictures. I have a bit of a memory problem in that most of the time I forget to take pictures, so most of mine are from special occasions. But I am trying to remember so that I have plenty to share...

Here she is peacefully sleeping. Blissfully unaware of what mommy is going to do next...
Still sleeping, don't you love what the kid does with her hands??

Then mommy decides we need a pic with big sissy, so in the bouncer they both go....

That didn't make her too happy!

A picture of a much happier big sissy!

So, we decide she needs a bath, but first nakie baby pics!!

Time for just a few more pictures.... Mommy and her girls

And my attempt at creativity

Cousins

I just thought about it today, and I am really glad that McKayla and Natalie will have plenty of cousins close to their ages, at least on one side! lol. Natalie and McKayla have four that are under four on the Smith side.

I was so blessed when I was little to have three cousins who were close in age. We got to trade off weekends and spend one every month or so at their house and then they would come to ours. It got hectic with 6 kids within five years of each other, but was so fun for us!

I look foreword to having my kids spend time with their cousins...

We made the trip up to see my sister and brother in law and their beautiful little boy.

He is only three weeks older then Natalie, and I am surprised at what a difference those three weeks make in the way they act!

It was a nice visit.

Nice to be able to see some of the Smith's more often, even though technically they are Haro's.

Anyway. All the rest of the clan is in Boise, hopefully we will get to see them again soon! I am done babbling for tonight. Have a good one!

Beach trip

For two years now my family has taken a trip to the beach.

We stay in a house about a block away. Last year was beautiful weather, but McKayla was still on the young side to enjoy the beach. And of course this year when she knows what the beach is and likes it, it was sunny but really windy and quite chilly.

So, we got to spend a total of maybe an hour and a half on the sand, and no time at all with Natalie out there, wasn't worth it to have a baby with a cold for just a few pictures... We usually go again in the spring and she will be bigger then....

We did get a visit from my sister and brother in law and their beautiful son Gabriel. He is the one I think Natalie looks a lot like, and they are only three weeks apart. Anyway here are the pics from the weekend...

More Randomness

Well, tomorrow will be my first day alone with the girls. Jimmy has to go back to work. I can't say that I'm not a little worried. McKayla has started to show signs of a cold, and that is so not how I wanted this week to start out. And he is probably going to be working a longer week this week, since next weekend we are taking a family trip to the beach (Be sure to check back for pics of that) Anyway, think of me tomorrow, and send a bit of luck my way. I am not sure how I am going to handle it! lol. Ever since Natalie came home McKayla has been a bit defiant to say the least. She is doing surprisingly well, but still tells me no about everything. And she is unbelievably whinny... I knew this would happen.

Hmmmm... I know there was something else I was supposed to write about... what was it?? lol. There is the mommy brain sneaking up on me again. I have new pics of the girls up in my photos, check them out if you have a minute. They look so good together. I still can't get it through my brain that I have two girls. Two beautiful, healthy, mostly happy girls. It is the most unbelievable feeling. I love sitting here watching them. Seeing McKayla running around, reading her books, playing on her slide. Then I look at Natalie, sleeping, or when she is nursing. I never thought I could love two as much as I loved McKayla on her own... I thank God every day for my girls. That's enough sappiness...

I suppose I better end this pointless blog for today. I need to get some good sleep tonight if I am going to survive tomorrow... lol
