fireworks
So, we were watching fireworks the other night. McKayla wasn't at all sure what to think of them. First she would say they are scary. Then she would pause, then she would go No, not scary! It was so stinking cute. And the neighbors next to mom had BIG illegals from Washington they were lighting off, went up in the air exploded then another would shoot off and then a second one would spin off and then explode. It was sooo cool (for those who don't know, the aerials are illegal in Oregon unless you have a permit) Anyway, we got a big ole package from Costco that was nothing compared to the neighbors. We had fun though. And Miss Natalie who decided at almost 10 months she didn't need a nap, got so tired and so cranky, she slept through the entire show! I couldn't believe she slept through it all. So, we had a good night. I would share pictures, but the camera is in the car, and I just don't want to go get it... sorry! I promise someday you will get all the ones I am too lazy or tired to post!! :)

Madison loved the fireworks this year...Olivia slept through them.
ReplyDeleteA couple years ago, though, Madison would watch one go up in the air, go BOOM, and then cover her ears and scream. Then she would say how pretty it was and watch another one. It was pretty funny. This year we were camping, so we went to the tip of the Mogillon Rim and watched a show from very far away that they were putting on in Payson. Not quite the same effect, but fun anyway.
I'm glad you had a nice time. We always enjoy the shows other people put on as well. Dan's parents live on a hill overlooking the bay and the people that live along the water spend TONS on fireworks...
