So, its been almost a month since I did the whole Random Updates. So, here I go again. Boring you all to tears. Then I will be back to just three readers. :) Just kidding. You guys love these posts and I KNOW IT!!
I will start with the oldest and that ISN'T ME! LOL! Its my hubby. (By a year, a month, and 16 days :) ) Anyway. Things with him are about normal. He is still working lots of hours. Getting better since summer is over, and soda sales are down for the fall season. He is planning to take some GED classes starting next week. The orientation is on Monday and Wednesday, so he is pretty ready to get this done with. He got basically screwed out of a diploma, when the school district here told him, two quarters from graduation that even with extra credit classes after school, he wouldn't have the credits to graduate. They did something weird with how they transferred the credits from Boise to here, so, he just quit. Not the best thing, I know. But at least he is going back and trying for the GED. Its only been 6 years! :)
On to me! The best part right?? I have one week left of work as a department manager. I am so ready to be done. Its just alot of stress that I don't want anymore. I start school next Monday on the 29th. My little sister (who has been in college for three years now) showed me around and to all my classes. It looks like I planned the schedule pretty well except one! I have to get from the track (I am taking a walk for life class) to the English class, halfway across campus. So, that should be fun! lol. I have all my books, and my backpack all ready to go. Praying that I don't have to buy too many more supplies. My sister and I are taking two classes together, so at least I will know SOMEONE! I am pretty well excited. I am taking my first week of school off from work, then I am going to be cashiering part time. So, that will give me the extra money with out the extra stress. Plus its something I can do my entire pregnancy. Speaking of. Things are going well there too. I have lost almost 10 lbs since my last doctors appointment I think. My jeans are LITERALLY falling off. I guess that's a good thing, since I am bigger, but still a bit un-nerving losing weight when you are supposed to be getting bigger! I have my next appointment on October 6. The doctor said she would 'take a peek' again then so I should have more pictures. And maybe (maybe!!) a gender?!
Next we have Miss McKayla. She is doing great. Getting bigger, but not too big (see yesterday's post) We got two big ole bags of clothes from a lady Jimmy works with that are her size so I am getting to go through those and figure out what we can use, or what we can pass on. She has moved from I want to I need. So now we hear "Mommy I need some ice cream" or "Daddy I need a Popsicle" It is so stinking funny. And I have no idea where she got that from but I LOVE IT! Her third birthday is the end of October (the 29th) so we are busy planning what we are doing for that. She knows she is getting a bike! It is so cute! We ask "McKayla what are you getting for your birthday?" and she eagerly tells us "A bike!" And she is still as outgoing as ever. Telling EVERYONE she sees "Hi there!" Not sure if that is a good thing or not at this point. Kinda scary in this age.... anyway.
Natalie is growing like a weed. She's been sick this last week. Took her in on Friday and they told me her ear looked pinkish and irritated but not infected. Told me to keep an eye on it, and bring her back if the fever didn't go away. Well it didn't and yesterday we took her back (THANK GOD for weekend clinics at the pedi's office) and sure enough. She's got ANOTHER ear infection. Been almost six months since the last one, so I guess that's good. She now has six teeth and is fighting to get more. I think I can see two below the gum line which would give her all four of the top front to match all four of the bottom front. Right now she has one front tooth, and the opposite side has the one next to the front tooth. :) She looks so stinking adorable!
And that is the updates on our home front. Keeping it real! LOL! Anyway. Thanks for reading. Nice to have a captive audience to share all my innermost thoughts with! HA! Like I have anything really exciting going on!! LOL!
Oh, if you will notice I updated the pics in the Banner at the top of the page (Thanks Leah!!) and also over there on the right ------>. I also added a thing where you can become a "Faithful Follower" (also to the right ------> ) not really sure what that means. But I do know that it makes me feel all special to have "Faithful Followers" :) And I know that the blogs that I "follow" it gives me updates on my homepage about who has new posts ect. So, kinda cool new tool (and hey look I rhymed!)
Betsy again with you and your school... I'm so excited for you! I wish I could just give you a big hug! Okay 2 kids and one on the way and you are going to school! I need to get my butt in gear.
ReplyDeleteI love that McKayla says "I need" I should try that too although it wouldn't look as cute.
Poor Natalie. I feel for her. I'm sick this week too.
I have been a follower of yours for a couple of months now in my google reader. it tells me when you've updated. but I'll add your other follower too!
You rock Bets! I'm so excited for you! Live your dreams! Believe it...be it!
ReplyDeleteI replied to this! I know I did! grrrr!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like everyone is doing very well overall (except poor Nattie!)
The banner looks great. I'm gonna have to reconstruct something entirely different once #3 makes HIS arrival (that's my guess for now...LOL)
XOXO
Crap! I hit the wrong key & lost my comment--I'm at my friend's babysitting, using her laptop--I DON'T LIKE LAPTOPS!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, what I said was that I admire you for having kids, working, going to school & being preggers all at the same time! That should keep you good & tired.
I didn't know McKayla was less than a month older than Jodi's little girl Olivia. I just hope McKayla is a lot less wild--LOL! Livvie keeps Jodi running & crazy.
Is Natalie getting earaches because of cutting teeth or viruses? My son ended up having tubes put in his ears (they fall out naturally). He didn't have any earaches after that.
