This week I am going to dare to be different again! I am going to post the things I am thankful for using pictures! I have done it once, and it was fun, so I am going to try again!! :)
This week I am thankful for:
Although this week its been hit and miss, it is the valley in Oregon and to be expected. I will take what God gives me, and try really hard to appreciate the rain, because its the reason we are such a beautiful place to live.
I am also thankful for:
Without it I would be one miserable momma. I don't know how some ladies do it without giving their child a bottle ever. Right now we are giving her about three a day, and I pump to keep up the supply. Don't get me wrong I LOVE nursing my little girl, but if you have ever done it, and had a slow eater, it can be tough. Especially when you have two others destroying the house, and homework piling up. This wonderful invention ensures that I am not spending all day feeding my child, but still able to offer her all the benefits of mommy juice!
Oh, and I am oh so thankful for:
Not quite sure why, but this weeks been full of headaches. Between the Tylenol and ibuprofen I am handling it alright. Oh, and I haven't had too much pain from the stone. Hopefully a good sign. But the Tylenol is a lifesaver when it works!
I am really thankful for this:
It allows me to take all three kids for walks, by myself, without the worry my three year old might get a wild streak and dart for the road. I know alot of people don't think these are appropriate, but if you have ever had to deal with three kids under four by yourself, its amazing. I don't have to worry about losing her, or having her taken. She is firmly attached, and she LOVES wearing it. Both my older girls do!
Speaking of keeping kids close, this is the final thing I am thankful for this week:
The carrier not the baby silly (though I am thankful for her too!) It is a God send to have two hands free while at the playground with two active toddlers. I also have a mei tai wrap and LOVE it!
Anyway, that is what I am thankful for this week! I hope I have inspired you to think about the things you are thankful for!
Speaking of keeping contained, I am also super thankful for this:
Good morning beautiful. So glad to hear that you are not too overwhelmed with handling three little ones!! I get quite stressed at times. The " baby leashes " are fabulous. Before I ever had children, I swore I would never use one, and would make fun of people that did. I would say that leashes are for dogs and that people shouldn't have children if they didn't know how to manage them. I would now like to apologize for that oh so ignorant statement. Those who do not have children should not open their mouths. LOL
ReplyDeleteI also thought the harness thing on children was a horrible idea prior to having children. But it was one of my most favorite things while in vacation in PA last summer! Connor was getting too big for strollers, but was too little and unpredictable to be loose on foot in such crowded areas (like the theme parks we went to). On the harness, he had the freedom of being on the foot, without me worrying that he'd dart through the crowd (little kids can get places in crowds bigger people can't!! LOL). We got plenty of evil looks though... ha ha!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're getting out and having fun.
AWWWWWESOME! We had a spot of sunshine today and it made me think of you.
