An update

Its been awhile since I updated everyone on the goings on in our home, so this will be that post! :) This time I will start with the littleist and move up. So, Miss Alivia! She is nearly six months now. I figure she is right at 18 lbs. Really interested in her toys and the TV now. LOVES it when people talk to her or play with her. She doesn't have any teeth yet, but seems to be drooling non-stop, so I figure teeth aren't far out. She started solids about two weeks ago, and its been going well. She is the ONLY one of my babies to like the rice cereal. So she has one meal of rice and then one meal of a veggie or fruit. So far she's had pears (she thought they were sour!), carrots, and peas (both of which she LOVED!) I can't believe she is growing so fast! Natalie is also making leaps and bounds in her development. She has started talking using full sentences. She loves her duckie (I will have to share pictures later!) Her hair is FINALLY getting to the point that we can do something with it! She is in preschool with her sister two days a week and loving it! Nat is wearing 2-3t clothes and is really catching up with her big sister in size! :) McKayla is really getting an imagination! She was running around the house yesterday with a toy bee behind her in her hand yelling "the bumblebee is gonna get me!!" It was so funny! She is also starting to really love her books. We got one of the "early readers" from the library, and it has about three words a page, she sat and "read" it to us! Only made two mistakes! I was so amazed and even though I know this isn't her really reading, its a big start!! She loves her preschool too! I am in school again, full time now. So its keeping me really busy. So far I am liking my classes though. It is going to keep me working though. I have had homework every night so far! Lots of reading and LOTS of writing. Because of the "break" I took in my studies to have the baby, I will end up with just at two more years of classes. I already have it all worked out, space in class willing. Speaking of space in class, its been INSANE! Apparently enrollment is up 35% so everything is more full. Classes, parking, study areas! Wow. Jimmy is still working for coke and still doing well. He started a new volunteer position at our church where he works directly with the children during Sunday services. He never fails to amaze me, how well he gets along with them! :) So, that's our update. Hope you are all having a wonderful Saturday! Think of me as you enjoy your day off.
