I have zero idea what is going on, but suddenly we have had a bunch of these little guys in our house. Not sure where they are coming from! We never had problems with them coming in before, but suddenly we are finding (and the girls are removing) at least one or two a day. The only name I know them by is "fire bugs" and as far as I can tell they are harmless, but that doesn't stop me from screaming like a girl every time I have one on me. It awesome, especially when they girls all laugh at me for it.
In our area, we have Stink Bug mania. They come and go, this year wasn't as bad as last, but they look kind of similar but it's not the same thing. They are pretty annoying though!

ReplyDeleteMaybe it has something to do with the weather getting colder? Bugs seek shelter when it gets cold, and perhaps your city had an abnormal amount of those bugs this year?
I am finding we are getting a lot of house flys! and its maddening!
Box elder bugs. I get them every year at my house. They like maple trees. Put out those little black roach bait traps and that helps out a lot.
