If you read my March to do list you know that one of the items on my list is to establish a chore and reward system. This is where pinterest comes in. I have been pinning things for months with every intention of getting them going on doing chores. But, as you know, life gets in the way so I am just now getting to get things done.
This is the pin that helped me start my chore list for the girls:
And this is the pin that I based our chart on:
I started out with just two chores for each kid as well as two for them all three to do. This is what we ended up with:
And the chore chart. Still missing are the clips with initials assigning chores for each girl. The white paper is a checklist so they can put a sticker when they complete the chores for that day. |

Stopping by from Mama Kat's! Love this idea. May have to try it for myself!
ReplyDeleteI will update on how it works later. =)
Delete"I can mange me". Great way to start teaching responsibility. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI can't take the credit for that one. My wonderful sister-in-law made one of these for her house and it worked, even when she has my kids over to visit. So, I asked if she had leftover construction paper (which she did) so she made me one!
DeleteThe "I can manage me!" is brilliant!! I could use one for me since I don't have any kids yet.
