A few of my favorite blogs like Kaci's and Heather's have started doing this new post. I thought I would jump in. Basically, you write about the things that you would talk about if you and I were sharing a cup of coffee.
So, would you join me for coffee today?
If we were having coffee,
I would tell you how proud I am of Natalie and McKayla. They both got achievement awards at their third quarter awards assembly.
I would tell you about how excited the whole family is about our new fur babies. We adopted two small rats from petco to join Pepper who is all by herself in the cage now. So, now we have her, Oreo and Snowball. The girls just love them already.
I would tell you how much I am beginning to enjoy our new house. We are getting into a routine and I am not feeling so overwhelmed.
I would tell you about how on Tuesday Jimmy and I were finally able to get down to the courthouse to file paperwork for the divorce. It was not an easy day for me, but it was something that needed to be done. I would tell you how grateful I am that we were able to do that together, saving us two extra trips (at least!) After our parenting class on May 8, the papers will head for the judge's desk and if he doesn't have any issues with our agreement it will be stamped and final.
I would tell you about how much I love our new pastors. They are so easy to talk to and I really enjoy listening to each of them speak. They take turns at the pulpit each Sunday, but they are preaching on the book of John, each one taking a passage, in the order it is written. I am really getting a lot more from this then I have from sermons in a long time.
I would tell you how thankful I am that I was able to find a new sitter. She is another one who works for the church so I know her background is clean and that leaves me with one less worry.
I would tell you what a wonderful day I had a work yesterday. I love that I can laugh at work and have fun and take care of people. I may not be a nurse or a doctor, but I still feel like I can make a difference!
I would tell you how hard this single mom thing is. How often I wonder if I can do it without screwing the girls up.
I would tell you how much I dread the teenage years with three girls. They are already so full of attitude, I can't even imagine how I am going to handle more!
If you and I were having coffee, we would have a lot to talk about! What would you tell me?
