Seven Years Old!

Natalie, I can hardly believe you are seven years old. Feels like I was just complaining about being overdue. I see now that it was your way of warning me that you would always have your own time table.

You are growing into such an amazing little girl. You love school and all your friends. The boy craziness has already started and you talk about your boyfriends every day. It is amusing now, because I know that it's all innocent, but I already dread the coming years!

I love watching you play nicely with your friends and sisters. Most of the time you get along really well with them. But like every other kid, you have your moments. If you are feeling ornery, the whole world knows it. You have this mischievous little face you get that warns me you are up to no good.

Grandpa has been living with us the past few months and you are loving having him there. He spoils you rotten! You show him you love him by trying to steal his hat and cane. Makes him laugh almost every time. It warms my heart up when I see you guys together. The other night he was reading your shark book to you (it's one of your favorites right now) and you were both so interested and content just flipping through it. I pray you always maintain this close relationship with him and your other grandparents.

Today I am thanking God for blessing me with you. I cannot imagine life without my Nattie-bug. You make me laugh and bring joy to my life. I pray that God will continue to guide you and protect you. This year is going to be great. I love you Natalie Elizabeth Grace. Happy seventh birthday. I pray this year is an amazing one for you and that many more follow!
