Well, this last weekend was Valentines day. Usually I'm not a fan of this holiday. I feel like it's been commercialized so much and there isn't need for a special day to celebrate your love. You should be celebrating and appreciating them every day. Stephen is amazing about this. He shows me he loves me with the things he does every day, not just what he does on holidays. Here are a few things he has done recently that made me smile.
During the week before Valentines day he got me the pretty pink daisies (pictured here in my thankful post) as well as some candy and a scarf. Just because. That meant more to me then getting it on the actual "holiday."
This weekend we got a couple desks that we needed. A new one for Stephen because his broke and one for the girls' computer. Anyway, he put together both of those desks and helped me rearrange the living room. The rearranging alone would have sent other men running. I have a problem with room set ups and it has to be just so. He put up with me changing it four times and we got it set up just right.
Monday, Stephen has class in the evenings, so I come home to an empty house (every other week). That morning I had mentioned that I wanted to move my computer cord and run it under the couch, so it would be out of the way. When I went to do that, he had already done it. Plus he made the bed. Both things made me smile big.
