1. I am thankful for the wonderful time I had with my sister and father. We don't get to spend enough time together and even though we didn't do too much, we still had fun.
2. I am thankful for my girls relationship with their "aunt sissy." Growing up I wasn't nearly as close to my aunties as they are to theirs and I am glad for that.
3. I am thankful that my husband can keep such a great secret. Having my dad and sister here is wonderful, having it be a total unknown, even better. I got the joy of the visit without the waiting. Best of both worlds.
4. I am thankful for the wonderful weather we had this weekend. Made it easy to get out and enjoy the company.
5. I am thankful for family who isn't afraid to sleep on the couch or the floor in order to spend time with us. My dad took the couch, my sister took my kids bed and my kid took the floor. Not a single complaint.
