Another week, another opportunity to count my blessings.
- I am grateful for the mild weather we had this weekend and a few days last week. I can almost feel spring coming. Stephen and I were able to enjoy a walk outside without four layers on Saturday.
- I am grateful for people who are willing to give. I created a fundraiser for the American Heart Association on March 1. My goal was $250 before mom's birthday. Today, I reached my goal. Nine people choose to give in mom's honor (myself included). The donor that put me over the top donated last night, anonymously, $62. Mom would have been 62 on March 25. There is still time, if you want to donate, you can do so by clicking HERE
- I am grateful for my pets. They have made me smile so much this past week. Maverick and Lola have been playing with each other like puppies, despite the 25 pounds between them. Jinx too, talking away in his cage, sometimes in a language only he can understand.
- I am grateful for Natalie's study skills teacher. She has been helping her so much with getting caught up before the end of her online school's term. Friday is the final day and I'm pretty sure she will pass all her classes. Maybe not with great grades, but she has a better idea of what it will look like for the next term.
- I am grateful for my husband's cooking skills (again). He has been making the most amazing soups lately and even the girls love them (and they are pretty picky!)
